I understand the number, what does the "V" stand for?

(And personally i don't really mind a CC number. As others have already said, given the choice between two identical knives at exactly the same price i'd go for the un-numbered one, but i already have a plethora of mint discontinued Spydies, some numbered, some not. I wouldn't pass on a desireable vintage one just because it has a CC number. Nor would i pay a cent more for a numbered one.
