Oh man, oh man! That coyote Urban LW AEB-L is almost in my hands! And the Native Chief is keeping me awake at night dreaming of it. I will soon have them both.

Very glad to see vg-10 on the p4, I will actually be able to carry it down here in satans kitchen in the summertime.
So what’s the deal on the reveal? They put the ones in there that are about to drop? Is there a timetable?

Same here. Outside of my Spyderco Chef's knife (not to be confused with the spydiechef) I dont use vg-10 much. The WharnFly will be the one to change that. Excited for the WaveFly too, maybe the novelty will wear off quick, but I'd be lyin if I said I didn't want one.

I thought this was going to be g10 or something other than frn. That's a little disappointing, I'll probably pass on this one. Love my g10 urbans and my k390. Have a lot of frn as is already and everything seems to be coming out more with it. Mixed feelings have now followed for me personally.

I'll get one for sure(maybe two) as soon as they drop but I'm going to swap the scales with a K390 one(I own three). I like the gray scales better than the brown ones.

Good idea. I prefer the grey, but I am okay with this color of brown, too.

Do we think this Urban Sprint is going to be an instant sellout situation like we tend to have been seeing lately? I know the K390 stuck around for awhile, but it seems like there's a ton of hype around the AEB-L... Curious what y'all think!

I'm guessing this won't be the 6 minute sellout wonder like some of the others.

The knives showcased in the new reveal that catch my attention most are the Native Chief, Endela, Sage 5 Lightweight. Can't say I have to have one just yet; I'll know better after I've felt one in hand. Lots of interesting stuff coming soon!!!

All the BHQ exclusives, but those are a particular kind of beast, I think. But the Superblue Caly Jr was pretty hot, the Smock is still pretty much an instant sellout, the Ikuchi was that way initially but seems to have cooled off, etc...
I think your analysis is correct, slippies tend to turn some people off, which is fine by me - more Urbans for the rest of us!

There is a FB group I belong to that has a lot of members in the UK. Slipjoint Spydercos are very popular. I expect the new Urban, in a new steel choice, to be very popular. Shoot I'm not limited on the type of knife I carry & I find myself interested in the new Urban. I use to own one of the orange Urban Wharncliffes and found it a very neat knife.
