Who has the CS orange Endura HAP-40?
Anyone have the new Cutlery Shoppe orange Zome HAP-40 Endura?
What do you think of it?
It is very tempting as I like the Endura (once I file down that finger bump a bit). It certainly is cheaper than some of the other large alternatives and this one has great steel.

The HAP40 is great. The Zome is an acquired taste. I have this one and the green/yellow Delica... I guess I like the ugly ones :D

I already replied in the Endura picture thread, but just wanted to entice you with some of my sub par photos:
I get alot of color variation depending on the lighting.

May I suggest the burnt orange HAP 40 Endura? Still to be found and prettier than the Zome just imho...Doc Dan wrote: ↑Thu May 02, 2019 6:54 amAnyone have the new Cutlery Shoppe orange Zome HAP-40 Endura?

I really love that knife and the steel, carry it a lot.
Top three going by pocket-time (update March 24):
- EDC: Endura thin red line ffg combo edge (VG10); Wayne Goddard PE (4V), Endela SE (VG10)
-Mountains/outdoors: Pac.Salt 1 SE (H1), Salt 2 SE (LC200N), and also Wayne Goddard PE (4V)

It is a cool looking knife, and unusual looking, to boot.
Here is the real issue: Spyderco Police 4 VG-10 $107.95. Zome Endura HAP-40 $103.95. See what I mean?

Hap40 > vg10
Re: Who has the CS orange Endura HAP-40?
I didn't have an Endura yet, so when this one came out in HAP40, for a pretty good price, I jumped on it. Having the P4, loving the Military, this one fits with those two nicely. Smallest and lightest of the bunch. But, it became more of a beater/garage knife.
Then the gray VG10 fell into my lap. Not gonna lie, I prefer the gray over the orange. So, did a blade swap, and gave away the orange VG10. Now it finds its way into my rotation more frequently.
Between the P4 (G10) and the Endura, I would keep the P4. Better ergonomics for my hands.

The price might be similar, but the Endura handle is a touch uncomfortable. I have high hopes for the Police 4 LW.

I don’t have practical experience with either, which is why I don’t have the endura yet. The P4 can be had in K390 which has much to recommend it.

THAT is a whole different issue. That is a G10 model and not a LW FRN model. That knife tempts me daily because I love K390 and back locks, both.
