Latest Spyderco Byte

Nice write-up on the history and development of FRN and FRCP. Given all the patterns and color combos available in FRN, I'm left wondering why FRCP hasn't had similar development? It just seems to languish in comparison. I've always hoped to see more transluscent color options in FRCP, but they never seem to materialize. How about a Salt in yellow transluscent FRCP? Or maybe when/if the Manix LW gets upgraded to BD1N, put it out in orange transluscent FRCP?

What do you say Sal? Will we ever see some additional FRCP options come down the pike?

For a second, I thought there were some red, black, and yellow Para 2 LW scales. This could have meant that some sprints/exclusives are on the horizon. But, as I looked closer, the yellow ones look to be the Salt Native 5 scales. I'm not sure about the red ones though.

I thought this edition of the Byte was excellent. I really enjoyed Eric’s video on the Para3, as well.

Pink? Guess I need to get my eyes checked. I mean I don't think the scales are fire-engine-red or anything like that, but I think they lean more red than pink.

Overall a pretty exciting Reveal. The Sage 5 LW and the new offset kitchen knives are definite pick-ups for me. My knife block is really gonna pop with a yellow handle in it.
