I have my first pm2 on the way in k390 and I could not be any more excited than I am about getting this one. I wish bbs offered overnight shipping I'd have paid extra for it lol

BBS has been super fast each time I've ordered from them. I've been pleasantly surprised.

Would someone notice a significant difference between K390, M4, or REX45 if you were using it as a general camping and light hiking knife?

Rex45 doesn't chip or roll easily, whereas M4 is more prone to chipping. I haven't pressed my P4 hard enough to compare yet, but the increase in edge retention is noticable.

If that someone was me, no I can’t notice a significant difference between K390 and M4. Both are hard and wear resistant. I’d be surprised if most people could in day to day use. It’s good to seem them tested more thoroughly. I like them both.

If this hasn't been said yet, k390 is Seki, M4 is Golden and Taichung.
Steel isn't 100% exclusive, but a pretty good bet for model matching

K390 Urban and K390 Pingo are Italy, I think Italy uses all Bohler steel.

I kind of wish Italy made more of the models I love because I do love K390.

Me too for both, especially the Manix 2. I would quickly spring for a ranger green G-10 model from BBS.

The nicest Paramilitary 2 variant IMO. Be sure to let us know what you think about it.

I like how almost a year after the BBS K390 PM2 is out (and not sold out), the m4 pm2s are still selling for more on the secondary market

I'm tempted by something tool steel as a work knife...

This is an epic time to be in the market for a tool steel knife. With such an amazing selection available like K390, 4V, Rex45, Cru-Wear, 10V, M4... Its a great time to be alive. ;)

It would be nice if we could get a new Military in one of these. DLT's Cru-ple combo or a St. Nick's 4V would be swell. I'd really like some Enduras and Police LWs in these steels too. Excited for the K390 Endura.

I'm hopeful that this means we could see the Caly 3.5 LW one day in K390 as well. For now the Delica, Dragonfly and Endura will suffice.
