A true grail off the list and a mini series completed!

I've loved the design of the Q ever since I first saw it in one of the old catalogs.
Quite some time later, I got my hands on one and the S arrived shortly after :)
(great little knife with a smooth compression lock, lightweight and I just love the MIM process)
I like making sets of models that fit together nicely, so this was becoming another one of those little projects.
There was however the elephant in the room (or lack thereof)... The R.

As many of us know, it most certainly isn't the easiest model to come across;
especially since the original one is the only one that would truly complete the mini set.

Well, long story short: It's here! :D
I figured some of you might like the mini set, so here it is:

Image
(I'll get around to making some proper pictures if anyone is interested ;) )

Now I just have to resist trying to find a PE "Q", SE "S" and PE "R"!
A tiger has claws.
A wolf has teeth.
An eagle has talons.
We, have Spyderco.

Nice score! I always loved the cut outs. I need an “R” in my life.

Why resist getting the complementary PE/SE blades? Since you’ve got bases covered now you can continue the journey; sometimes the search is its own reward.

As luck would have it (or misfortune in my wallet's case), I might've stumbled upon a lead on a PE "Q" by pure coincidence today :p
This adventure might not be over yet!

Awesome. That’s the only R iteration I’m missing. They’re always way too expensive to consider.

I've handled the Nishijin one before and it's a great knife whilst still being affordable.
I'd say all of the iterations are a great addition to any collection :)
And besides the R, the R2 has been steadily creeping up in secondary market prices as well...
