Sooooo...you like the ikuchi or not?? I get the feeling it's one of those knives that's a new design and people are all hopped up on, posting pics left and right...but will be left in the dust and pretty much forgot about in 6 months.

Same path as the Brouwer, amalgam, tropen, subvert, etc.

Yes, I do. Light, slim, good ergonomics that do not force your grip into certain positions, slicey blade good for all sorts of cutting tasks. I think it’s another of those designs that has to be used to be appreciated. Photos don’t do it justice. I am not particularly happy about the shallow opening for the lock bar tab, but that is something I can figure out how to live with.
