Lil' Native CompLock Pivot Screws

#1

Post by Forest Elk »

Short question:
Are the pivot holes in the liners D-shaped, i.e. I have to loosen only one screw and then on which side or are the holes rounded which means I have to use two Torx8?
Thanks in advance! :)

they a both sides d shaped. which captively hold the bronze washers as well. yes 2 torx on both side if you want both scales off and the pivot.

Thank you Sir!
I only want to adjust the pivot as the blade shows a little side-by-side play. But if both liners are D-shaped which pivot screw (on which side) do I have to tighten?

I usually adjust only one screw, usually starboard side as I'm right handed. However, adjusting both screws evenly would probably be more "correct."

So I think I got it: There is a D-shaped pivot bolt and 2 screws... An exploded view picture would solve any remaining question. Is there someone who has such pic available?

i do its on my cell phone. i am working right now so when i get out in an hour or so i can upload it in pieces. but if its off center loosen all the screws and start from the bottom on tightening them up. the stand offs are also bolts on both sides.

There should be at least one disassembly video on YouTube available
