I agree Spyderco knows there stuff.

Funny aside... recently I looked at cold steel and some other makers and you know even trying to be open minded and venture out a bit, I am not finding anything I like and always come right back to waiting on a Spyderco model.

Yeah I'm the same. I have a bunch of traditional slip joints, and fixed blades from different makers, but regarding modern folder brands, I'm unashamedly 'one-eyed' for the bug. ;) :) :spyder:

Two weeks later finally got the Cruwear to dull but it took running the blade into glass an bottle tops by accident to do it.

Took it to the sharp maker brown rods 20 licks each side and super sharp again.

Soooo....

Just purchased a PM 2 in Cruwear set me back set me back $218.00 how is that for the secondary market on a sprint run?

Did I do okay? Not sure what they went for originally guessing around $165.00

KC version with the smooth G10 was $155 when they came out.
SPY-27 and CPM-Cruwear are peak performance...for me.

Thanks, well $63.00 guess I can’t complain too much had no idea when they came out and yes KC version. Great steel in my Military otherwise would not have purchased.

Yeah, it could be a lot worse. I regretfully sold mine but am hoping the Cruwear train picks up soon with some new sprints/exclusives!

I'd love to have something identical in Sleipner and CruWear to do a real comparison. My totally unscientific impression at this point is that Sleipner has the same toughness as Cruwear but with better abrasive wear resistance. Unfortunately, the knives I have them in are totally different, so I could be way off base on that.

I love watching and reading Deaboxheros ( BBB ) reviews this guy really knows his stuff and I respect him. When He observes the same things I have it makes me feel confident on my observations. I was blown away by his comparisons between M4 and Cruwear as I observed the same things and he has S30V described perfectly.
