Ikuchi lanyard hole problem
Paul, your lanyard hole placement has me scratching my head. I can't figure out how to get the knife open to use it now. What gives?

Re: Ikuchi lanyard hole problem
Clearly designed to prevent someone from opening your knife without your knowledge, but you are supposed to use a locking cable.
An impressive security feature!

Re: Ikuchi lanyard hole problem
It's a design feature, the Ikuchi is convertible to a two-hand-folder.
Thanks for the laugh ... :D

Matt,
You are doing it all wrong. You are supposed to first open the knife and then attach the lanyard...

Re: Ikuchi lanyard hole problem
The lanyard hole (or lack thereof) is its greatest feature!
Re: Ikuchi lanyard hole problem
Just have to find the right lanyard. :)

Open knife, insert lanyard, close knife to cut lanyard. Easy as pie!

I think I may have found my wife's newest neck knife...
The best part is she can put it straight to use while still attached to her necklace. Talk about "designed in the dark" functionality! :D :D

Ever since I added this "lanyard" I absolutely cannot open this knife anymore. Any ideas y'all?

Nice Spydergirl!
I'm glad that I could make a few people laugh with this thread. :)
Honestly, I'm glad that this model doesn't have a lanyard hole. Another great design Paul! I'm very happy with mine!

Re: Ikuchi lanyard hole problem
Maybe not exactly a *lanyard*, but while the Ikuchi may be named for a mythical Japanese sea monster, I'm finding mine is channeling an inner Polynesian deity watching over my Tiki drink...
