Yikes. I just read an article regarding this lawsuit! I recently purchased a para 3 from here. Do I have anything to worry about??

If you have pictures of the knife, others(I don't own a Para 3 to compare it with) might be able to verify authenticity for you.

Post multiple pictures, particularly of the blade, the written markings on the blade, handles, the compression lock button (preferably from the side), and last but not least, a close-up of the jimpings. Shouldn't take you more than 3 minutes :D

According to the synopsis I read, they were counterfeit versions of the Military and Paramilitary 2. This is old news since this was settled more than a year ago but posting some pictures would give the forum the opportunity to confirm if yours is real or fake. I'd be surprised if it's the latter.

As I recall the fakes were in the used case. I think they took them in second hand for cash or trade. They were labelled as fakes.

Yeah, I had a chat with Spyderco on this and now feel pretty cool with my purchase. So much so that I returned to the KTP and bought a dragonfly salt!
