I ordered my Waterway on Monday from KC and figured I’d buy one for my son in law’s up coming Birthday too as an after thought. The next day they were out of stock on a few sites. Then they were back in stock again. Does this mean shops are selling out and getting more inventory?
Gringo’s knife must be selling exceptional well. I had considered waiting until next month but now I kind of feel like if I didn’t grab the two I got when I did I might of ended up missing out.
Anyone know how many of these were made?

I think they might be regular production.Bloke wrote: ↑Thu Mar 21, 2019 4:46 pmI ordered my Waterway on Monday from KC and figured I’d buy one for my son in law’s up coming Birthday too as an after thought. Although, very smart move to get 2 while you could. :)

They probably are selling well. The price is excellent for what you are getting.

I noticed the store where I purchased mine was down to 2 when I placed my order. Nice to see so much enthusiasm for one of their fixed blades!

Between this and the Bow River, I think there will be a lot of interest in Spyderco fixed blades going forward. It's pretty easy to see why everyone wants the Waterway though. It looks to be a great design in a hot new steel at a good price.
Re: Waterway Availability?
Just ordered from KC. They are the best. Somehow they get me my knives in 2 days and I am in Cali. BHQ takes 4 to 5 days and they are in UT.
Looking forward to taking Waterway to Shasta Lake next week.

Not too sure about being smart Paul, but certainly lucky.
Who knows how long we’d have to wait for the next batch?
