Lil' Hundred Pacer?

#1

Post by M4Life »

Hey guys so I know I can't be the only person who feels this way, so I wanted to make a post and see what you guys thought. I really like the design of the Hundred Pacer, I think the handle scales are super interesting and I'm also a fan of the blade shape of the Hundred Pacer. What I'm not a huge fan of is the 4" blade size. I respect that they wanted to make a big knife and they didn't go halfway on it, but I do wish their was a lil' Hundred Pacer for those of us who may not be in a situation where a 4" knife is practical and/or legal.

I know that the handle width of the Hundred Pacer is already pretty thin so it doesn't feel as big as it actually is in the pocket, so I feel like if they made a scaled down version with like a 3" or 3.25" blade it could really disappear in the pocket, and I definitely feel like it open up the hundred pacer to more people. Anyway let me know what you guys think am I crazy or would you guys also like to see a Lil' Hundred Pacer?

From what Sal has said, I believe they are at least considering a smaller version.
I don't get people who only carry one knife :thinking ;)

If it's smaller it would be more appropriate to call it the 200 pacer :)

I would be interested in a version n the Para3 size range. I just don't ever have any need to carry a 4"+ folding blade, so even though I think the current design is really cool, I held off on getting one since I know it wouldn't get pocket time.

I seemed to be tuned in to new, innovative designs. I love the Hundred Pacer design and would certainly be more likely to buy a smaller version since it would fit my use needs better.

Sal, record that as a “yes”.

I really like the design, but I knew it was not one I would carry due to the size. Hopefully they can capture the spirit of the design in a smaller size, but they usually cannot just make it x% smaller than the original. From what Sal has said in the past, things have to be changed when they shrink or enlarge a design.

I have it on good scientific authority*, that the smaller ones are more poionous ergo it should be the 50 Pacer.

Different blade shape to begin with. There is more.

Probably the size of a Claymore (the sword, not the anti personel mine) :)
