Another collaboration with Serge Panchenko, please?!

#1

Post by archangel »

The Dog Tag is really knice, probably heavily underlooked. It's designed by Serge Panchenko. What are the chances to have more collaborations with Serge? Besides the DT the other existing collaboration is the Roc. I say three is better than two. :)

Hint: make it small, flat, and round. :D Titanium scales please. ;) I don't want to want too much, so I won't specify my dream steel. I'll make room for any steel in my collection.

He started his own knife making company. I’d be surprised to see him do another collaboration with Spyderco.
Most recently acquired: Military 2, Paramilitary 2 Tanto x2, YoJUMBO, Swayback, Siren, DLC Yojimbo 2, Native Chief, Shaman S90V, Para 3 LW, Ikuchi, UKPK, Smock, SUBVERT, Amalgam, Para 3 CTS-XHP, Kapara, Paramilitary 2 M390
Grail Paramilitary 2 M390 X 2! ACHIEVED!!

I would love to see more from Serge and Spyderco.

I recently read on his Instagram page that he would be interested in continuing, both, the Dogtag line and Roc with Spyderco.

Very happy that my thread was picked up. And delighted to read that Serge wouldn‘t mind to continue working with :spyder: !!

My bank account is pretty dry so I haven‘t ordered the Coin Claw out of his own production. Like I said before in another thread, spyder it up with a hole in the blade, leave the materials as they are, and i‘m super in!!

Serge makes lots of coin claws. I’m not sure we need spyderco to make more. I would rather see the Persian, which serge doesn’t seem to make at all anymore.

I've been wanting a Coin Claw, but can't justify the $500 that it requires. I'd love to see it with a Spydiehole, Ti, LC200N and a sub $200 price.

The recent run was $100 with M390 and titanium. :o

Why didn't I grab one again?

Your argument is invalid (to a :spyder: collector).

If I'm not buying a Spyderco, it is going to be a full custom in the vein of this one.
(which is what sparked my interest in the knife to begin with)

Just flippin magnificent! But, $500 for the knife, plus whatever the engraving costs... I just can't do it!

They are georgeous, I give you that. But I'd never spend that much money on one knife, and if I would it would not be a user. That wouldn't be right for me.

The 100 bucks version with a :spyder: engraved and a hole in the blade (could be as small as the Pingo's) - that's mine.

Sal, Serge, pretty pleeeeeeeeease......

I also have been lusting after a coin claw for years. I am saving and will probably buy one of the $100 production models if they are available when I have the funds. Still, a Spydiehole version would be better.
