These look nice. If I carried the Shaman I'd be all over this run.

Nice! Might try to snag one :spyder:

Seeing this makes me feel like a Lil Native M4/Jade run is inevitable. Already thought so, and this only reinforces that thought! The demand is obviously there. :D

199 not bad, I was expecting it to be much more. Standard s30v with dlc is the same price.

The jade scales look nice in the picture but as with the rest of the jade line, easily dyed to the users liking.

Really like that jade color;
even better with DLC.

It would be awesome if a Caribbean Salt DLC with jade G10 was made (dreaming over here).

Does M4 rust as easy as people say it does? I live in an extremely humid environment and work in the natural resource field so I can be outside in the woods all day during summer. Would M4 present a problem?
SPY-27 and CPM-Cruwear are peak performance...for me.

I'll wait for the Micarta model... and hope it's blade, whatever steel they might choose, will be stone washed (like on the current S30 V standard Shaman).
Top three going by pocket-time (update March 24):
- EDC: Endura thin red line ffg combo edge (VG10); Wayne Goddard PE (4V), Endela SE (VG10)
-Mountains/outdoors: Pac.Salt 1 SE (H1), Salt 2 SE (LC200N), and also Wayne Goddard PE (4V)

I've had it rust on a dry day just from body sweat in my pocket. It's more resistant than 52100 or Super Blue but definitely will rust if you don't look after it.

I've found that I can't carry bare M4 in the spring or summer. Even with a fresh coat of protectant, I saw pitting start in less than 2 hours.

DLC-coated M4 fares much better. Thinking about how often I use my s30v shaman in the garage, I may end up skipping this sprint.

Still waiting for the Cruwear/Micarta shaman!
EDC Rotation: PITS, Damasteel Urban, Shaman, Ikuchi, Amalgam, CruCarta Shaman, Sage 5 LW, Serrated Caribbean Sheepsfoot CQI, XHP Shaman, M4/Micarta Shaman, 15v Shaman

Special and Sentimental: Southard, Squarehead LW, Ouroboros, Calendar Para 3 LW, 40th Anniversary Native, Ti Native, Calendar Watu, Tanto PM2
Would like to own again: CQI Caribbean Sheepsfoot PE, Watu

Yes! This one and a Native LW! Jade FRN would be pretty sick. Both in DLC please.

I have had the opposite results with my M4 Mantra, it refuses to rust or even patina. I had a Rex45 PM2 that started rusting almost instantly. I put it in my pocket, got in the car and drove to the job. Thirty minutes later when I opened it to cut some packaging at the jobsite, there was rust all over it.

M4 on the other hand, I carried daily for several(3?) months and it shows only the faintest discoloration in one spot, I can't catch it in a picture. The only maintenance I do to it is mineral oil on the blade once every two weeks or so.

I live in the mountains of N. Georgia. Hot, humid and nasty.

Thank you. I really want some of these tool steel models but if I can't carry them...oh well. Still cool to see the shaman come out in a new configuration though.

I'm in the mountains of E. Tennessee so hot, humid, & nasty describes both locations perfectly.
