 When I read this I almost spit out my Coffee. :D
I wonder who came up with that one there had to be some laughs prior to packaging.
Serious question now. For those of you who have used the BYRD BY200 Duckfoot sharpener how is it? What degree does it sharpen at? How does it compare to the brown stones Spyderco makes?

By holding it vertically on a tabletop it tilts from one side to the other raising one edge off the tabletop and creating a 20° angle (40° total angle) for sharpening knife blades.

As mentioned, the Duckfoot by itself runs at 20 degrees per side. I made a base for mine from a block of wood to get 15 per side. It is much faster cutting than the brown rods/stones, pretty close to a DMT Coarse (blue) hone.

We plan CBN Duckfoot to go with the Golden Stone as a set, including the 30 degree fixture. Still off a ways.

I've had nothing but great results using the Diamond Duckfoot and the GOLDENSTONE>> I've used both of them quite a bit in the past two years especially. I'm hoping that the CBN Duckfoot comes to market soon. I also hope that the GOLDENSTONE is eventually offered in more grit selections. I would love a grey/mediun and an Ultra-Fine GOLDENSTONE. I believe with more grit selections that it would be extremely handy in the field.
I believe that the concept of the Duckfoot and Goldenstone has huge possibilities down the road. It's going to be interesting to see what Spyderco does with them.

Love it Sal, the Pitchman is a special art that brings joy to the audience and sales. Just bought one of these on eBay look forward to sicing it on an old Hunter serrated, man that thing is dull :)
