UKPK sprints?

#1

Post by Mom3ntuM »

The UKPK is such a Great little knife and i think it deserves some sprint runs.
I can't imagine i'm the only one who wants it.
I don't know how well the ukpk sells, but one would think they sell enough to justify a few sprints?
The "legalfriendly" design allows more People to legally carry "exotic" steels.

I want a drop point in k390, handle colour is not important although i'm not man enough to carry pink.

What do you think?
What do you want?

I agree, a drop point UKPK in K390 would be a fantastic sprint run, and a must have for me.

A leaf blade would also be great in K390, although a drop point would be my first preference.

I like these ultra lightweight blades as fruit and vegetable parers and slicers, as well as small game knives (in addition to all the usual EDC tasks). The drop point UKPK blade, with it's lower height seems to be slightly more nimble in those applications in my experience.

The drop point UKPK seems like a mini, purist version of a Stretch to me, and the Stretch is one of my all time favourite Spyderco designs.

I'm also not fussed with handle colour.

There's been quite a bit of discussion about this in the last year or so. You're definitely not the only one who would like a UKPK sprint.
Of all the things I've lost I miss my mind the most!

Hopefully the 52100 comes out soon. I hope it’s a leaf.
- best wishes, Jazz.

You are definitely not alone. There are a lot of people
Hoping a Sprint happens eventually. For now there are whispers of a 52100 sprint and a possible salt ukpk.

A quick search turned up the threads below asking for a ukpk sprint. I stopped on the 3 page of the search...

I'll buy any UKPK sprints that come out.

My first choice would be Maxamet (and regular production), but I'll take whatever is available.

Urban K390 already happened. It's a great knife.

I'm not sure how easily available they are at this point. It's been a while, and I bet the secondary market prices are jacked up by now.

I'd love to see more UKPK sprints. Especially in Drop Point. I like the leaf shape, but I have tons of those now.

The drop point look is refreshing and also less intimidating. Great for a knife like the UKPK. It also cuts great.

The UKPK is one of my favorites. Any steel will do, except maxamet (sorry Tom :p ).

I'm a big fan of the UKPK and would love to see a LC200N Salt model (with yellow FRN). But I'd be interested in most sprints Spyderco would potentially offer.
