I have not carried and used my Lil Temp for years. I forgot how much I love this knife.

The aesthetics of this knife are stunning. The green grip with relief cut, and the thick leaf blade make for a very good looking robust folder.

I forgot how great the grip is. It just fits your hand perfect. I cut up some boxes and trash. I also pried out a plastic auto body clip with it today. The knife cuts very well and seems ideal for EDC.

Throwback Thursday was fun!

I agree, it was a great idea! Hopefully it keeps going. More and more members will see it and hopefully contribute themselves. It's cool to see how far the models have come, or changes made or inspirations for new models we see today.

This is my last oldie. Love the shape of the grip; for a righty, the ridge provided by the spring loaded clip post adds to the grip. How close is this to an older Endura, or is it a tweener? Maybe similar in size to an Endela?

Hey while we're on the subject of "throwback Spyders" of yester-year we might as well acknowledge the GOLDEN ERA of Spyders ( 1998-2004) >> which in my humble opinion produced many of the very best Spyderco models ever.

Very interesting you bring up that full SE Lil T there Archimedes because I've always referred to the full Spyderedged Lil T it and the fully serrated Native both to be virtual pitbull folders  There's no Spyder like one of the older Spyders

Just a thought on Throwback Thursday the knife does not have to be that old maybe just a knife you forgot about that has been laying around or bought and never really carried. For me it has been rediscovering old knives I stopped carrying or steel I have not used for years.

Glad you said that, because that Endura is my only "old" Spyderco knife! Was feeling bummed I was going to be a one and done in this thread.

I am torn between thinking "who cares if it's a 2 year old knife you just realized is really really good" and "If it's not discontinued it's not a proper "throwback"
Would be interesting to hear others opinion :)

The discontinued thing is a good rule of thumb, but of course the Military is not discontinued but the one I am carrying is old so...

A discontinued variation counts in my book. I too have Milly with dino jimping and old Delicas and Natives. Those count without saying IMO
