I've been enjoying my Spydie Saw lately.

I knew there were some of those Spydersaws still around. However that's even the first pic I've seen since about 6 years ago.

I've often wondered if Spyderco got that blade from a manufacturer like Felco, Corona or one of the other lawn and garden tool makers?

I had one and even used it some before I sold it back around 2005 and it worked quite nicely. I either traded it or sold it I can't remember which. But I was surprised that it didn't sell better than it did.

Today's throwback :)

Beautiful, one of my last grails that always slips away. She is my Eleanor.
When I had my SE, C-54 Calypso it was a "user" of mine. It was my second best SE blade of all time>> second only to the SE, C-60 Ayoob model. It's a real shame because when the C-54 Calypso was still in the main line up there were at least 12 super model Spyderco's that totally overshadowed it. It truly got lost in the shuffle. Also I think the big Calypso was the first folder in VG-10 if my memory is correct.

There’s some beautiful photos (especially of some kopa/calypso/calys) in this thread.
