Eric is so excited, he said M4 instead of 4V for the Providence. XD
Love seeing more detail on the Respect, didn't realize what a massive chunk of steel it is.

Yeah I figured they would stick to what was shown in the first reveal catalog. But to show just one knife from it? What about the Endura wharncliffe, one of the exclusive fish Natives, Ikuchi or the meerkat sprint? I guess we’ve sort of seen them before so no big deal. Just surprising to me.
Yeah, now that you say it, it is surprising. The Ikuchi was a big story coming out of Blade last year, and the Meerkat is an iconic model. Plus the new blade shape on the Endura should have at least been mentioned.

Knife Center put up a video of Eric showing the Ikuchi, Endura Wharncliffe, and other models in the 2019 catalog soon to be released.

I like the knife overall but that lock looks really annoying. Or can it be operated one handed?

I don't typically buy duplicates of knives but the wharncliff endura and Tanto PM 2 are different enough that I'm really interested. Can't wait to see what steels/scale options they come in.

I love the Drunken but just don't see myself spending that much $ on a Spyderco.

Oh, and I can't wait to get several Bow Rivers.

Weird how Eric keeps calling the Ikuchi and the Smock “front flippers”. I thought he may have misspoke in the first video but he’s said it in a few videos.

The closeup of the para 3 lw shows it to have a stonewashed finish, right?

Eric said that was a prototype, and the production ones would have a satin finish.

Thought the same thing.

And why are they STILL not showing or talking about the sheath? Seems really weird...

I'm quite concerned myself  This is one of my most anticipated knives lately....

Maybe the sheath is so amazing they don’t want to show it because we will lose our minds and start asking about it even more often.

Spyderco is really killing it with the fixed blades this year. I'm glad they're giving so much attention to a segment of the market that often feels neglected, especially seeing how all models are so different from each other with very specific uses in mind.

I'm also very excited for the SE wharncliffe Endura. The rescue tool taught me the beauty of a long, serrated, wharncliffe FFG blade, but unfortunately that model had serious quality issues, so I'm glad to finally get something similar in a more familiar and reliable package.
The problem of a coherent civilization is the problem of living with ignorance and not being frustrated by it.
