Aftermarket wire clip to replace hourglass?

I'm looking forward to the Lil Native Slip Joint that seems will come eventually but realized the prototype is an hourglass clip which I really don't like. Are there any aftermarket wire clip replacements that use the same configuration as the hourglass clip?

I did find this post from 2013 where Senorsquare uses a techno clip beneath the tri-screws.

There isn't currently a manufacturer who produces wire clips that will work on Spyderco models featuring the standard hourglass clip. I have watched for just such a product since purchasing my second Spyderco knife in 2005 (my first had the wire clip). You could try to use a wire clip like found in the link nugi provided, but I'm not sure how reliable that would be.

The only other option is to mill out the grooves, as well as drill the screw hole, in the way that Spyderco does on their wire clip models.

Yeah you don’t need an aftermarket clip, you need a milling machine. A couple slots, a tapped hole, and G-10 on steel liner knife can take a wire clip. I’d be doing this myself if I didn’t like hourglass clips.

I too want this. I love wire clips now and I want to replace the hourglass clip with the wire clip.
