I'm only interested in steel variations on the wharncliffe dragonfly! Absolutely amazing that the design is 24 years old. It never looks dated.

After owning a Dragonfly, I agree with this 100%.

Anything but a Wharnie in the Dfly, is less good.

I haven't bought a knife since November, its crazy. I would drop the cash on lc200n Wharncliffe Dragonfly though. If that doesn't happen soon, I'm gonna get the good ole VG10.

The VG10 one is really good! VG 10 gets real sharp, real easy...

I've also found the need in my rotation for a LC200N Dragonfly.

Reason: I carry this platform deep pocket w/o the clip while at work in thin dress pants. Despite the dress cloths, during summer, its common for me to work hard enough to sweat through my cloths which quickly causes corrosion on my knife. LC200N will eliminate that problem.

Keep in mind there IS an H1 variant that will also fix your problem.

I think this is long over due, even if just for a sprint version. With the Pacific 2 coming out in H1, I have a feeling we may only see Seki made Salts in H1 and Golden made will get LC. Regardless, if they do one in FFG/SE I'm all over it.

I have H1 in a Pacific Salt 2 and I really like that steel for the purposes of that knife.

With the Dragonfly, I'd need to maintain high wear resistance for cutting light cardboard, thick plastic bags, and thin rope at work.

In the meantime, Flitz and EDCi fix the problem. I just need to not be lazy.

What work do you do that requires you to dress nicely and cut a lot of stuff? I can only imagine you're a spy :D

I can't speak for him but retail management....business casual but still expected to work your arse off. I had to wear nice khakis and shine my shoes but still go in the back room and get dirty with everyone else. Add to that a strict "no weapons policy" just to complicate it more. Retail is a job that most people have no idea just how demanding it is.

But yeah he's probably a spy :D

retail management...

Yes... in the furniture industry, and the cardboard that needs to be cut is no joke.

There may or may not be some of that kind of thing that goes on between competing furniture companies as well as various other shenanigans.

I should have never signed up for this forum. Soon I'll have more money invested in salt water fishing knives than in my rods and reels! :D

I’d love a LC200n Dragonfly, especially in Wharncliffe!

*But not black though. Yellow suits the model perfectly. Easy enough for folks to dye the handle if they want it black.

I need a Dragonfly in my collection... there are some interesting steels to choose from and I haven’t pulled the trigger on one yet, there’s only room for one...

LC200 would probably be the one I’d go for... Any color handle is fine.

Hope this happens some day!
On deck: FRN Chaparral

Moved on: Techno 2, SpydieChef

Excited to get: UKPK Heinnie Haynes edition, Lil'Kapara (bring it on! :D )
