The fancy folders get all the attention, but these Z-Cuts may be the best knives of the year.

I just checked River’s Edge Cutlery and all 16 Z-Cut models are indeed in stock.

I’ll update later as delivered in August.

The items in the Reveal catalogs are supposed to “be available within the next 90-120 days” after the Reveal date.

Spyderco 2019 Reveal Volume 2 was released on May 2, 2019 so the remaining items below should have been available no later than Friday, August 30, 2019. So, I assume they'll be out fairly soon after Labor Day.

  • Murray Carter Collection Itamae Series (Japan)
  • Police4 VG-10 Black FRN (Japan)
  • Sage5 CPM-30V Black FRN (Taiwan)
  • Emphasis 8Cr13MoV PlainEdge Black G-10 (China)
  • Emphasis 8Cr13MoV ComboEdge Black G-10 (China)
  • Insistent 8Cr13MoV PlainEdge Black G-10 (China)
  • Insistent 8Cr13MoV ComboEdge Black G-10 (China)

ETA... everyone wants to know, right? With our new process, our intent is that everything in this Reveal will be available within the next 90-120 days.

This is not the only Reveal that you'll see this year. Our goal and expectation is that everything in this Reveal will ship before we launch the next Reveal.

...

Kristi

Based on above from TazKristi, we won't see Reveal Vol. 3 until the items in Reveal Vol. 2 have been delivered.

Welcome to the forum

Don't be surprised if you see it in stock other places before BHQ fills your preorder

I suggest finding the Police 4 LW thread and following it as well as this thread so you can get notifications if any one posts, this is usually how I end getting stuff in time

I figure the odds are approaching zero that 2019 will actually see four reveals. I'm sure it seemed like a can't-miss way to impose some order on the production pipeline when they came up with it. But if your production process is too difficult to predict with certainty, you can't just create that certainty by reporting on the uncertainty more often.

Aww have a little faith, one thing I have noticed during dry spells Spyderco has been working up major bursts of interesting releases.

Now mind you as far as I am concerned the Z Cut knives are a completely different category and while there are many different types I myself speaking only for me consider them as one for various reasons so I do not see them impeding the last reveal.

This year we have seen some pretty good surprise releases from DLT and others and they have tended to be close on each others heals, too close making them hard to afford for some, to few making them unobtainable by others.

Strange year. Still Think they will pull in the final reveal but may be delayed in production of said revealed items into 2020 despite best intentions. Then again who knows 2019 has been the year of the burst mode.
:)
