Except they won’t do sprints if the initial model doesn’t sell well enough. Manix 2 backlock is the perfect example
I promise to do my part by purchasing one of these.
And if you renege, my Knife Justice Legal Team will be the first to defend your right to change your mind in any court in the world. We will however require a non-regular Spyderco issue Para 3 as a retainer with final payment being 2 more Para 3s also non-regular but must be different from each other and the first.

Let me remind you, commitment to buy a knife is far more serious than a marriage proposal or even a bonafide legal contractual agreement. It's not only the fact that the legal fees will make you homeless but you may possibly never be allowed to purchase a knife again.

Think about the children!
I don't have enough para3's to pay for my legal team, I guess I will have to go through with this. The legal fees may be less expensive than the spyderco hobby...
I wish you well. Since you seem sincere we could reduce it to one Para 3. For the children.

I got my Ikuchi from GP Knives yesterday and I'm impressed. The detent is dialed in perfectly and the flipping action is beautiful, better than I expected honestly. It won't be for everyone, but I love it and I think a lot of us will. It's so unique and it slices extremely well. The factory edge is sharp, very sharp and I'd expect that you literally could do surgery with it. I was trying to think of a good comparison and it's similar to when you get the trigger pull set just right on your rifle and it takes very little effort to fire a round. That's the way the Ikuchi feels to me. The only downside is that when it's closed, you can easily contact the tip, which is very pointy and sharp. I hope others like it as much as I do. Good job Paul and Spyderco.
Thanks

Are you saying in the closed position that the tip can cut you? If this is the case when mine arrives in a day or two and somebody wants it then I will sell it for cost and they pay shipping. What is going on?? first the Tropen with ability to contact the blade by the lock when closed and now I am hearing this???

Its really not a big issue, not even close to the Tropen. If the Ikuchi is closed and you run your finger over the liners, your finger tip may catch the blade tip. I have to press my finger meat into the liner for the skin to get caught, and even then it doesn't cut anything, just the tiniest bit of grab. So for me, its a non-issue. That Tropen though, it looks scary to handle.

Thank you for the clarity on this one after the Tropen and the minor clip issue on the Drunken and the lock bar stuff with the Spydiechef my confidence is a bit shaken.

Someone posted over on blade forums that the Para 3 Lightweight showed up briefly on a few dealer sites. Has anyone here seen them in the wild?
