Does anyone know what day the M4 Dodo from BHQ is going to drop??

It’s on the New Arrivals page of BladeHQ with actual pictures and a price of $154.95 shipped so it’s not far off.

DLT Trading Exclusive Para3 Lightweight M390 Red FRN will go on sale on Tuesday, October 29, 2019 at 11am Central Time for $129.95 shipped.

Thanks for the heads-up RamZar! FRN is not my preference, but when you have the chance to get a Saleric design ;) with complock and M390 for just $130, you have to try to get one. I'll give it a shot.

Surprised they didn't use orange instead of red for that release date. Actually prefer orange over red. Sad that titanium could be had in some places for around 130 not that long ago.
Figure that has to make them worth more now??

Red scales with satin blades is Dlttrading's exclusive color combo with Spyderco. Orange is reserved for Cutlery Shoppe generally. What are you referring to about titanium for $130?

I expect that there will be a Para3LW in orange/S90V from CS at some point. Unless we get lucky and they use XHP. :) Of course there is always the possibility that KC will do brown/XHP. That would be cool.

It is interesting how much we associate certain colors with certain dealers these days.

@ Doeswhateveraspidercan: I agree with you in one point: it's pretty frustrating that exclusives of well selling designs such as the PM2 or Para3 are being launched in quantities that sell out in minutes. Making sure you don't have stock for weeks or months is no valid argument here. It just causes frustration. It's a pity that Sal has to follow his customer's wishes in regards to the quantities that are to be produced exclusively. I understand why he does it. The customer shops are to blame. I hope Sal is right, that DLT / St.Nicks etc etc check this thread and listen. Give us your sexy exclusives in quantities that last for a couple of hours, please!

Looks absolutely amazing. Like doeswhatever says, a perfect package opener. Especially clam packs. But it also looks like I would struggle to sharpen it, so I’m going to pass. Can’t wait to see what jade/m4 is next though!

Don't let sharpening stop you I have a Spyderco Plain Edge Dark Blue Lil' Matriarch from Bento Box Shop and I just use the corners of the Sharpmaker to sharpen it. Very easy really.

Sometimes I wonder if Sal and Eric design these blades specifically to make the Sharpmaker indispensable in this age of angle cubes and $400 clamp-and-guide systems.
(I miss the Dodo I sold, but if I pick up another one it'll be SE.)

Has there been any word of DLT releasing another run of the red G-10 20CV Manix 2? I thought I remembered mention of it soon after the original release, but it doesn't seem likely with all the new releases coming out these days.
K-390 on hand: Mule Team 17, Police 4 G-10, Endela (burlap micarta), Endela backup, Endura (canvas micarta), Straight Stretch (now blade-swapped with G-10 Stretch), Delica Wharncliffe, Dragonfly Wharncliffe, & Dragonfly Wharncliffe shorty mod
Note to self: Less is more.

Didn't st Nick's mention ordering the 4v blades a year ago? I wonder how long ago they requested another run..

Same here. I treat it like S30V or VG-10. If I really really like the knife design and that's the only steel choice, I'll buy it, but I'm buying it for the design not the steel.
