There is one example of a PM2 with DLC liners/compression lock Razor Edge Knives recently finished/posted on Instagram. He also made a new blade out of nothing as in not a regrind and it looks amazing. I've highly considered getting some Para2's/Para3's liners DLC coated or ceramic coated :D

There is no way that blade was ever a Factory PM2 that was modified.

Oops darn phone I am sure you can figure which came first. Anyway no way that was ever a stock PM2 Blade FFG with all those angles! If so WOW!! sweet looking knife to be sure.

Since we are writing about DLC. I have a question for the kind hero’s at Golden and others whom might know.

Does DLC come in colors other than the current dark brown? Mabe blue, green, orange, tan, red!

I think that's the naturally occurring color of both dlc and ticn (at least i think it's ticn)

+1 One dealer I was talking to was toying with the idea of an exclusive with a white PVD blade!

I also think Cutlery Shoppe should do a run of Orange PVD CTS-XHP blades with Black G10!

Wasn't the supergold delica going to have a gold pvd blade at one point but it was too expensive or something maybe so they just did the lockbar

I certainly would purchase some well thought out folders with different toned blade coatings. Hopefully this gives a few ideas to Golden and dealers on possible exclusives.

Sorry I don't post much, but yeah it's not a regrind or modified factory/oe blade, it was completely made by Razer Edge - that's what I was trying to say by "made from nothing" lol

We should probably take this topic to a different thread, but yes, I agree. Esee does orange and neon green blade coatings that look nice against micarta scales. Orange blades and champagne blades look good against black scales as well.

Maybe offer that Cruwear Micarta Shaman with PVD Orange blade? Do 100 of them as a flash batch to test the waters??? :D
