Spyderco Para 3 Lock Bar Tension

#1

Post by AndrewN »

I have recently received a Para 3 for Christmas, and i have an issue with the lockbar. I need to flick my wrist and flip the blade open at the same time to flick it open. Sometimes that doesn't even work. I an positive it is the lockbar, because once I disengage it, the blade moves backwards so freely that it bounces back open partially once it hits the stop pin. Is there a way I can loosen the lock bar without taking the knife apart?

Use it. Open and close it 200times and more.

It will get better after it's broken in.

Which steel is your Para 3?

A drop of lube and use will break it in. Give it a month.
