Yes, thankfully, it is remaining 2.6" in blade length.
Being a New Hampshire resident, I had somehow thought this modest length was legal in Boston. Not!

Nor is it in numerous other US cities...

Shedding another tenth of an inch would make it so. Forget that, I’ve just joined Knife Rights.

Never settle, never compromise. Make the bastards come off their mallum prohibitum laws. In the meantime such cities don’t deserve to be graced by my presence.

Never fear, Spyderco is here!. They are working on a 2.45" non-locking knife, from what I remember.

I’ll be keeping my ear to the ground.

Hum... This is certainly news to me. If you don't mind me asking, where did you get that sweet piece of information from?

Sal, in one of the posts a while back. It may be in the Coyote Urban thread, or an earlier one on the Urban.

Seems it wasn't too long ago and the people there were overthrowing their rulers for a life of new freedoms!!! Anyone else see irony in this?

Yup. The Founders would lose their minds if they could see us now. Might even start a party.
