What do you carry on new years eve? And a happy 2019 to everyone!

For me It's my HAP40 Endura. No restrictions where I live, probably some sandwiches or the like to cut, the burnt orange is an appropriate color for a cheerfull party.
And the Endura is probably my all-time-favorite, so a good knife to have in pocket when the old year ends and a new one begins.

our tradition is to watch the sun set on the year at the beach here in hawaii. what better “ball drop” is there than that? i’ll be carrying my new native salt (it hasn’t had any ocean time yet) and my pacific salt (because i don’t want it to feel replaced).
happy new year, everyone.
also, i’m probably ordering a yojimbo and sharpmaker on new year’s eve to get in front of the upcoming price increases. woot.

Just realize again how fascinating it is to chat with people all around the world, united somehow just by the passion for Spyderco, in your case Hawaii. Where I live, it's morning of the last day of the year, you'll probably go to bed soon in your place...

Manix 2 XL and byrd cara cara 2 stainless. But I'll be going through most of my knives today and touching them up if necessary. I have a feeling the Ti/CF military will be in my pocket by the end of the night.

I'm EDCing my Spyderco CPM S110V Military along with my Spyderco Delica 4 Black FRN in PE and SE. If we go out, I'll swap these out for my Spyderco Caly 3 Black G-10 in PE and SE to keep things discreet, and I'll also EDC my Spyderco Assist Orange FRN.

For me I'll be carrying my Spydiechef at the party we're attending. It's my "dining/dinner party knife". I'll also have my 2 Christmas presents to show off, Lady Bug SE Hawk-bill Salt and Man Bug Salt. They'll definitely be conversation starters!

Spydiechef! Same knife I’ve carried every day since it was in my stocking on Christmas morning. Not really sure if there’s a knife out there right now that could ever kick it out of my pocket.

I also went with the knife I received for Christmas, SS SE Endura. I didn’t do much cutting with it but the SS handle made a good tool for cracking mud crab claws and cleanup was a breeze.
