Early Spyderco Knife Question

#1

Post by SpyderEdgeForever »

There are various documentaries made about different topics, such as military conflicts, science excursions into the wilderness, and other events, in the late 1980s and early 1990s. While we do not see them being used, do you all think it is very possible and probable that many of the people in those documentaries had early Spyderco knives such as the Worker, and Endura and Delica, and others on their person and also in their use?

As an example: During the 1990s Balkans wars/conflicts, and related things, do you think numerous soldiers and civilians had Spyderco knives in their pockets and in their use, in addition to whatever military hardware such as bayonets and combat knives, were available?

And when we see documentaries about people going to film and photograph wild animals such as lions and elephants and wolves from the period, do you think some of those people had early Spyderco knives on them?

I ask because it is an interesting thought.

Also, do you think various militaries around the world have purchased large batches of Spyderco knives, such as a case of a thousand Enduras, for issue to their troops?
