Any chance of a Stretch 2 in LC200N?

#1

Post by Catamount123 »

The Stretch is one of my very favorite Spyder designs. One in LC200N would be amazing. A full on Salt version would be over the top, as long as the blade remains FFG. I hear there is an LC200N Pacific Salt in the works, so it seems a Seki made knife in LC200N is possible (unless the new Pacific will be made in Golden?).
I don't get people who only carry one knife :thinking ;)

Stretch 2 in LC200N +1
I do not own the model and steel yet. Sounds like a perfect combination to me.

I agree completely. A new Stretch Salt with Lc200N Blade and Black FRN handles like it is.

Assuming it would be PE and FFG, I'd be up for an LC200N Stretch. Black FRN handle would be fine, yellow FRN even better.

Since there are some who are still fond of the Stretch 1 design, maybe a sprint (or exclusive?) of that would be another possibility? I would be happy with either the 1 or 2 in LC200N.

Do you like the Yellow because it is characteristically in line with the oceanic/seagoing theme and other previous Salt knives, and/or because it is easier to find if dropped?

I like your idea and would love for Spyderco to produce this.

Partly because it would be consistent with all of Spyderco's other FRN Salt folders, partly because it's easy to find, and partly because I'm partial to yellow and it would make a great pairing with one of my favorite Kiwis that was customized for me with sun yellow Corian scales by tonydahose.

That is one sweet knife could also see it In Turquoise scales and Lapis lazuli, and Malachite. That knife just lends itself to being like Jewelry. Beautiful! Thanks for sharing the picture.
