Shaman Variations??
Shaman Variations??
Anyone know if there are any planned Sprint Runs or Exclusives of the Shaman coming up? I’d love to pick one up in an upgraded steel from S30V.

Re: Shaman Variations??
Sal is working on a micarta shaman with cruwear steel. There was also talk of an s90v CF sprint as well. Not sure what the status is on either though.
I’m waiting on a new variant as well. It’s a fantastic design.

I’d like to see one with an upgraded stainless steel. Ideally M390.

Re: Shaman Variations??
I guess m390 isn’t likely since Spyderco changed the rules on European steels for USA made knives. Apparently they are only going to use USA steel in golden from now on.

Oh man... stick even with S30V, but shaman plus MICARTA-scales will be almost impossible to resist...Liquid Cobra wrote: ↑Mon Dec 24, 2018 1:42 pmSal is working on a micarta shaman with cruwear steel. There was also talk of an s90v CF sprint as well. Not sure what the status is on either though.

Re: Shaman Variations??
I read this as my Shaman sits nestled in my pocket..
Honestly, the DLC Shaman is one bad Mother F-er, it has a no nonsense design and it is begging for hard use. I know traditionally hard use is ideal for fixed blades and lockbacks... but to me the Shaman is more than capable to run with the big dogs. A steel upgrade would be a welcome addition, personally I love the contoured g10 but would be excited to see micarta... or Titanium O.O
