Techno vs Techno 2 slicing and cutting performance

#1

Post by tragique »

How do the two models compare for slicing (think cardboard, apples, general food processing)?

If anyone has had both, or even just the Techno 2, I'd like to hear what you think.

I’m unsure how the two models differ, but isn’t the blade a little short/thick for food prep? I’m sure it will work regardless, just a thought I had is all.

Techno 2 has a thinner stock, straighter edge (santoku-style) and edge is generally lower in relation to handle line. It's absolutely better slicer than first Techno.
