I started working on this post and Holland beat me to it by minutes. I'll attempt to freeze mine and we should stick with Holland's


I began my 2018 list without reference to my previous lists. Then I saw I left out the PITS, and had to keep it in there, so I had to drop the Des Horn, which made me cringe. :mad:

Looks like I still like small blades. I still prefer wire clips.

No big moves and no new-to-Spyderco knives made the list this year.

Seems like I’m gravitating more towards 3 inchers, ti handles, and steel doesn’t matter as much as before... Still perfer the in-house designs over the collabs, with the PITS being the dark horse the list.

I have many other Spydercos, but these are the ones I use most.

I only own 3, but I’ll put them in order:

1. Hap40 Wharncliffe Delica.

2. 52100 Para 3.

3. Cruwear Para 3. (This is actually my favorite blade steel but I have zero confidence in the slick smooth g-10 scales and don’t carry it. When I swap in some micarta or grippy g-10 scales it’ll probably become my favorite knife).
