Pricing Help Requested Please
Can someone please give me the MSRP for the following knife: Spyderco Delica, Gen 1, G2, SE, CLIPIT. My "collection" is getting to the point where I want to insure it and the subject knife is the only one I can't find the MSRP for. Thanks in advance for any help!
P.S. I only planned on getting one knife..........

Re: Pricing Help Requested Please
MSRP would depend to some extent on year purchased, but for the Delica it was $45.95 in 1994.

Should be no mystery, take a look at Spydiewiki.com ==> http://spydiewiki.com/index.php?title=C11_Delica

If looking to resell on eBay for example I usually start at one dollar and let the market decide and have always been happy to give someone a deal and just as happy to do really well.

Taking inflation into account it is not really worth much more now. $46.95

That shows it would be $78.15, nearly double.

I find it interesting that it makes the current price of the Delica essentially right in line with inflation from 1994.

True. MSRP is considerably higher today. However, in 1994, almost all dealers were charging full MSRP while today discounting it the norm so "street price" is pretty much right where inflation would put it.
