K05 and K09

#1

Post by Tdog »

It's that time of again when the K05 and K09 really shine. We make gifts of fruit (ambrosia) for family and friends. The K09 works extremely well...the best. It's called fillet'o fruit. We mix Hamlin, Temple, Navel, Page, and Tangelo oranges from our yard. The pic doesn't include the cherries or coconut we add for those who like it. My wife knows how to use her knives. It takes about 1 and 1/2 hours for us to make 8 quarts. For those that don't have the K05 and K09, you should. They make great Christmas presents. The K09 is a scalpel.

Yes they are great kitchen knives! I recently won one of the K09 in the last drawing Mr. Sal held and I'm loving it! (At least I think it is a K09). It's supposedly a stainless steel but mine already has some patina to it, that doesn't bother me though.

I own the larger utility knife as well as the Santoku from this same collection, and these two are my favourite kitchen knife pairing of all times!
