Did it really take the opinion of a gun guy to make you want one, after all us knife nuts have been praising it for years?

It's been difficult for me to warm to a Wharncliffe,
but the hollow grind makes me weak in the knees.

i really wish they’d give us this knife in a dlc version. personally, i’d like to see it go full salt with lc200n, but even coated s30v would be fine.

sd blades make more sense to me when they aren’t flashy and shiny and are low maintenance. i want to carry it iwb without worrying it will rust and i don’t want it drawing unnecessary attention when i pull it out to use it for edc tasks.

spyderco, please at least make it black for us. :)

and please don’t tell me about exclusives that have been coated. none of those are available anymore and people always buy these knives that they don’t want to scalp them on the secondary market, so they’re not typically reasonably available. i just want a standard black yojimbo (maybe even a little salty ;) ).
keep your knife sharp and your focus sharper.

In AEB-L and flat grind, I would like it so much more.

I own just over 20 Spyderco’s, there are several that come to mind as having just super slick action, my hollow-grind Manix, my Gayle Bradley 1, and my KW Cru-wear Para 3. But none of my Spydies can touch the action of my Yojimbo 2!

I’m sure it has everything to do with that big thick hollow-grind blade, when middle finger flicking, all you have to do is just get it started. It was hard to convince two guys I work with that it wasn’t an automatic knife, it’s that fast!

I've been asking for a FFG without distal taper ever since it came out. I think it would preserve the tip thickness and be better suited for EDC use, while still being plenty strong enough for MBC.
