Chaparral FRN - Best New Manual Folder 2018

Postby Sharp Guy » Thu Dec 06, 2018 10:55 pm

I just read that the Chaparral FRN was voted Best New Manual Folder for 2018 in the Knife News Reader's Choice Awards. Well done Spyderco!

Well deserved!

The Chaparral FRN kicked the standard Delica out of my pocket. I can't think of a bigger vote of confidence than that!

I am not surprised. An excellent knife.

I carry mine everyday along with a larger folder. Love this lil guy. So much quality packed into such a small piece. I was worried I get it and it would feel overpriced...worth every penny. Well deserved award!
Currently have 18 :spyder: 's in 14 different steels.

I had my Chap for awhile now and have been gone on and on,
about how it is EDC perfection.
Sal is a design genius...what a mind.
Congrats!
Looking forward to even more variations of this great knife.
Micarta would be wonderful.

This makes a lot of sense. I already loved the cf version, the chap FRN is a whole new level. It is a slim package a keen slicer and a gentlemens carry. The FRN is a great addition to the handle materials used on the chaparral. To say i like it is not enough...i love this little folder!
