I was sharpening the Mrs Dragonfly Tattoo earlier and noticed the screw pattern for the clip was different to my other spoon clip equipped knives.
On a hunch I grabbed a spare Benchmade deep carry clip I had laying around and to my surprise it fit perfecly. A direct bolt on replacement.
This is a better reason than I usually have to shop for a knife, so I started googling SS Dragonflys. When looking at stock photos I noticed there has been at some point, a change to the clips. Some show the standard screw pattern like that found on the Delica, Endura etc. The other type is the pattern that fits the Benchmade clip.
Does anyone know when the change was made, which screw pattern is the earliest or latest in production?
I’ve already got 2 frn D’flys so the only reason I would get another is to put this clip on it. I want to be sure I get the right one.
