2 quick ideas to speed up sheaths. 1.) A bunch of us could call sheath-maker and beg to hurry up. 2.)Start a Go-Fund-Me page and offer it to them to expedite....

Just ordered one myself; I had no idea they would come in at such a low price point! I'm gifting it to a coworker who is a lifelong fisherman who has always struggled to find a good fishing/all-around outdoor knife. I've been waiting and watching for the "perfect" knife for him for the last ten years and nothing had checked off all of the boxes until now. That's pretty high-praise, Lance; great job!
Lance, do you have a recommendation for a retention technique so he doesn't drop this to the bottom of a lake somewhere?
Its release causes me to scratch my head, however. You're getting your production samples and we're able to buy it at the same time. Paul gets his Ikuchi a week ago, and nothing has hit retail yet.
