Chaparral Raffir Noble = Stunning

#1

Post by BigGrove »

As a fan of handles in alternative materials (love me some Nishijin), I finally got around to picking up a Chaparral Raffir Noble. I contacted several retailers to see if they would assist with helping me identify one with a pattern in the resin I would be happy with. Big shout out to Knife Works who really stepped up and sent me pictures of the best of what they had. This is one gorgeous knife.

Very nice. Also great to see an online shop go the extra mile.
I've been interested in Raffir Noble but wouldn't wanna order it blind online. Same with the pakkawood that can have some lemons.

Yep, I love my Raffir Noble Chappie. I carry it as a companion blade for my Sliverax, Manix XL, and Benchmade 550-1 Grip for when I need to make extra precise cuts.
BRING ON THE MANIX XL SPRINTS AND EXCLUSIVES! And 10v or K390ify the Golden lineup, please.

Top 5 folders I’ve owned: Serrated Caribbean Leaf, Shaman, Manix XL, ZDP-189/CF Caly 3.5, Native LW.

I really don't care for it but that is definitely one of the best patterns I've seen yet.

Hi Marius,

The very early models had one or two. We've since modified (CQI) the material.

What a great looking knife! If I were not holding out for the Native Salt, that knife would tempt me to buy yet another Chaparral.

I would love these scales for my Manix2 I just couldn’t bond with the marbled CF.

I think these wouldmake great handles as sprints for other models. Or maybe someone will make them in the aftermarket world.
