Source for discontinued Spydies
Yesterday I bought the last two CE Guntings left in stock at Nagel's Guns and Knives in San Antonio, Texas. They have a large stock of other discontinued Spydies, including Jot Khalsas in both types of edges. No website of which I am aware; 210-342-5420.

Mr Jensen is, of course, being his usual modest self- both in his own quiet lack of self agrandization and in praise of Nagel's. John's got the stuff and if he doesn't, he's been known to find it.
As for Nagel's try an NYC Blade Show sheepfoot Q for $67.50, a blue and a green Kraton Centofante (same price), SS PE Rookie, Ser 035, {again same price) etc, etc, etc. Nagel's is the place to shop for knives in SA. They carry most brands and many rarities but what takes the icing off the cake and pumps it up a notch (Insert Emeril's "BAM!!!" here), are the customs. Nagel's employs a gunsmith by the name of William (Bill) Keller and he brings quality in workmanship, attention to detail, superb blending of material, and drop dead beautiful worthy of museum art designs, to life and sells through his web site and (his best pieces IMHO) at Nagel's. Bill Keller is on par with Allen Elishewitz when it comes to working the folding kives operating mechanics. Smoother than a baby's posterior and possessed of the gunsmiths fine eye for detail his knives have been mentioned in Blade and other pubs. If you are in San Antonio, stop by and visit. It's a great place for edged eye candy and the owners are just great folks to rap with.
On another note, I found the spring well of abalone Spyderkeys at a store in DFW yesterday. Scored the abalone, cocabolo, and what looks like Corrian version of the Hummingspyderbirdkey and will be putting a Tuffram CoPilot, sheepfoot SnappIt, and Remote-Releases, and several brightly hued Centofantes on layaway. More to follow.......
