What are your thoughts on Spyderco's Peel-ply Carbon Fiber?

I don't get the CF/G10 laminate from cost perspective. You have to put two materials together, cure them, and then cut them. We are talking about millimeters of material. Perhaps there is more to it?

I ended up getting custom scales for couple of my CF laminate knives. Honestly, I'd rather have solid G10 than the laminate. Yes, the laminate looks the same to those who don't know. But I know...

I agree. Give me CF or G10. Or, better yet, give me a choice.
