Sal, have you ever tried making a lock back with an internal stop pin?

I think you like the Szabo (trailing point) and Police (thin lock-back), Vivi.

You might want to try the Chinook 4 - the secondary part of the power lock takes pressure of the back lock, and only needs a small area of the blade for detent purposes, so the blade goes quite close to the handle (great handle to blade length ratio). And in contrast to the Tatanka, the Chinook 4 does not have a stop pin, the 2nd power lock part serves this purpose.

I've yet to disassemble my C4, since it's still near perfectly adjusted as it came out of the factory, so I can't show pictures how it functions, unfortunately. I was hoping somebody else had some pics of the C4 internals ?

Roland.
