My Spyderco smells...

#1

Post by Cave_Hermit »

I love my military but I did a silly thing! My bin in the house is one of those pull out drawer set ups with the bin inside the drawer anyway I left my military on the drawer above it and now it seems to have absorbed the ah garbage smell :( . It has been 24 hours and it’s better but the smell maybe has absorbed into the g10 it still lingers a bit. Weird post I know but if you have any tips to help me and my pungent mili I would be gratfull!

G10 scales, just brush them with a toothbrush with some Dawn and should be good to go.

It is ruined. There is no hope. I'll send my address so you have a place to dispose of it safely.

Or throw it in a bin full of fish. I promise it will soon lose the smell of garbage.

Scrub with soap and water, if that doesn't help cover it in baking soda and let it sit for a few hours then rinse.

Hose it down with some WD-40. Then wipe clean.
