2019 Spyderco Catalog Predictions

#1

Post by Hopweaver »

Last year's catalog was released in early December. December 8 to be exact. So hopefully we are 6 weeks out (plus or minus a few) from next year's catalog.

What are your predictions? Let's hear your predictions for:
1. New flavors for existing knives :)
2. Sprint runs
3. Old knives making a triumphant return
4. New knife collaborations and/or designs :D

I would like to see a collaboration with Grimsmo Knives and get my hands on Norseman with a Spydie hole in it.

I predict the FRN police will be in there.
I wishful think that we see either the FRN Caly 3.5 or even a new variant of the regular Caly 3.5
Also a k390 sprint of semi models would be fantastic!

I would like a Shaman in fancy pants steel(M390)...and maybe a few new Milis? Honestly, 2018 was such an great year full of fun releases that I'm just excited to see what they come up with.

Hoping for more Cruwear and LC200N in the new year! And predicting the first CPM-3V folder!

Hoping to see a Native, Native LW, Manix LW, CQI Military, and a Shaman (Micarta?) in Cruwear. DLC would be great for any and all of these.

A Manix LW Salt (CBBL or Backlock) in LC200N would be a nice compliment to the Native Salt. Also hoping the Native Salt gets the blacked out treatment.

Looking forward to any more Red/CPM-4V models from St. Nick's knives, and hoping that some dealer drops a CPM-3V exclusive bomb on us! Native and Military would be my choices for that!

I'm going to guess the Shaman and Lil Native will both be getting a new variant in the new catalog. Like the brown micarta Shaman that was mentioned by Sal.

Also, going to make a bold prediction that we finally see the return of the Jester! That would be a nice surprise! :spyder:
