I'd hope for Micarta too... dark denim would be cool.

Anyways, regardless if Micarta or my FRN-version, the Chap is the one and only SMALL knife I really do like.
Micarta might be nice; has Spyderco used it before?
...
At least in some fixed blades, as far as I am aware of, but others will know more about this.

I remember Sal mentioning something like that there can be issues when Micarta handled knives are being shipped from a humid (Taichung : Chaparral) to a quite dry climate. Micarta could shrink under that circumstances. ! Really not sure if I remember correctly though, so don´t quote me on that !
Top three going by pocket-time (update March 24):
- EDC: Endura thin red line ffg combo edge (VG10); Wayne Goddard PE (4V), Endela SE (VG10)
-Mountains/outdoors: Pac.Salt 1 SE (H1), Salt 2 SE (LC200N), and also Wayne Goddard PE (4V)

That would be nice, indeed.

I would also opt for polished bone colored G10.

How about a Chap LW Salt with glow in the dark neon FRN scales and DLC LC200N? These would sell like mad.

I still REALLY want this, but as far as new scale materials...

naturally textured Buffalo Horn
naturally textured Ram's Horn
Jigged Bone dyed Green or Blue
naturally textured Stag
natural Abalone Shell
rough matte Canvas Micarta
rough matte Denim Micarta
pinecone composite
wafer thin peel ply G10 in semi translucent Red (St Nick's DLC 4V exclusive??? :D )
Neon Glow in the Dark FRN paired with DLC LC200N Salt model!

Again, Micarta is what I'd like to see next after the ",sun and moon" G10, then some nice wood...

Sometimes I still can't believe how much I like that little knife, being normally really into Endura-sized-Spyders...
