Hey, have you read the negative reviews for this seller? Omg. Also on your tracking number does it show that it is actually moving through the usps system? Mine doesn't show it has been officially accepted by usps. Which is not a good sign.
The reviews are not promising. My tracking still says "package acceptance pending" as well. :(
It seemed a little sketchy, so I submitted a request with the seller to cancel the order almost immediately after I saw their stock drop from 15 to 0 with only 2 sold. Of course, they didn't respond to that until today though. I plan to submit a claim with Ebay and PayPal after it doesn't show up on the tracking ETA.
That sucks fellas, but that's why I never buy any knives from the Bay.

I've bought about 50 spyderco knives from the bay... Never an issue till this one. The seller is an authorized spyderco dealer by the way... Not some rando with no seller history.

So many authorized dealers to purchase Spydercos but people risk the bay for what, save a few bucks and possibly have an earlier model in hand? Whatever floats your boat. :)

Yeah, I’m a huge video game collector and have been on the losing end of a bad transaction like 2/1000’s of eBay transactions. eBay is secure. If you buy something, and end up losing out, it’s likely your own fault.

Edit: I’ve also purchased somewhere around 30 Spyderco knives from eBay, and have had zero problems there.

It was from an authorized spyderco dealer and I paid MAP. I didn't save any money. I thought the model was dropping and bought it like I have many times before with no issue. I generally find out through ebay when new models have dropped via alerts. My refund will be on it's way shortly. Zero risk involved. :)

There are authorized dealers selling on eBay. National Knives, for example, is one of my preferred dealers, and you can occasionally get better prices from them by using an eBay coupon (rather than ordering off their site). The Fradon 4v Manix was also on eBay, and that one was an exclusive.

I've actually bought from them before with no issues. I wouldn't have thought twice about ordering from them via eBay.

Glad to hear it! Just got my refund as well.

I still have a feeling we'll be seeing this one soon! :spyder:

Still waiting, I submitted my preorder for the Bow River on 6/9/2018. It’s now been over a year.

Can someone from Spyderco chime in and let us know what’s going on with this release please? Sal, Eric somebody please.

I had a strange transaction with them once. Bought a couple of Spydercos at half MAP, afterwards it was radio silence for a few days.

I did end up getting them, just took a bit longer than normal. Like he was on vacation or something, idk.

Would've enjoyed having this one for summer use... most are guessing that the sheath is the hang up, but we aren’t getting a lot of information from anyone about it..

There have been some changes to knife itself. I remember that is had 3 hollow pins and now it has two full pins and two hollow.

I think that simple kydex/boltatron sheath would do the trick, no need for leather.

I agree, leather is nice but a simple fold over kydex sheath with a thumb push-off would work well. On a <$50 knife, I’m not worried about the sheath being too extravagant.

As far as I know, the Bow River was always shown with 3 solid pins and one hollow pin as a kind of lanyard hole. I think what you're calling a 2nd hollow pin is actually the divot they put in the G10. It's not a hollow pin. Have you seen some updated pictures with a different setup?
