A.G. Russell passes

I regret to inform you that Mr. A.G.Russell passed away last Friday. H earned the title of "Mr Knife" even before we ever made a knife. A.G. and I go back a long way and I have many memories to cherish. Our best to Goldie, family and staff. He will be missed.

As a child I would spends hours looking at the pictures in my dad's A.G. Russell catelog every quarter, dreaming about the day I would own one and torn over which one would be the first.

I can't believe they still produce the Hunter's Scalpel. I owned one 30 years and have no idea what ever happened to it.

I always look forward to flipping through the catalog when it arrives every month or so. I pulled the trigger on a $50 pair of nail clippers based upon Sals recommendation. The build quality is so good im guessing they will last for the rest of my life.
