I live in Freiburg, the capital city of the German Southwest region called "South Badenia". Distance to France abt. 30 km West, to Switzerland abt. 60 km South.

I want so much to experience the environments some of you guys see every day. 100 miles from the polar circle? What's it like to live there everyday?
I would like to walk a mile in your shoes. I've been to a lot of places but never really as an insider. I'd love to walk and talk and see and feel and taste and smell the everyday lives of so many of you guys.
I'm a little jealous but i temper that with what I've seen that others haven't. Hunting rabbits and elk in deep snow of Finland, watching dolphins and whales and sharks off the Australian coast, hunting hogs from horseback in the Argentine pampas, off roading through east asian jungles. I'd love to experience that before i die. We should be grateful for what we have available to us and thank you all for reminding me, because i have seen and done some things others would love to experience too. Thank you
